For my RAV4, I have to put LCD on trip A; Push and hold the button to turn on the ignition key without starting.
You folks are big help. I am on Vacaton. I thought I would have to take a day to get it fixed. Well I changed my oil and didn't know about this reset button.thanks a person in South Texas
Glad the information helped. My wife kept bugging about the flashing light; it's the only visible way for her to 'know' something is wrong with the car. After a little research, I figured out why it flashed and how to reset it.
BTW, I find that Toyota service providers I've used don't remember (or don't know how?) to reset the warning light. I always have to do it.
The Rav4 reset is right on the mark for my 2007
Yeah, I think it goes off every 4000-5000 miles.
Thanks for this tip!!!!
No problem. Glad it helped
It's very annoying to have the MAINT REQD light come on and be less than 1 week since my last oil change and service at a dealer. Thanks for the information...
Wow..I've known that it is such that easy. I always paid to Toyota maintenance center to do this. It works for the other Toyota model too. Thank you very much for this big contribution.

Thank you for the information. It worked fine for my wife's 2006 Toyota Sienna. It was driving us nuts and we did not realize the service people could have turned it off so easily. I will mention it the next time we are in for oil change.
Such a great HELP! It perfectly worked with my 2007 SIENNA. I followed other recomendation which starts with TRIP A or B and found myself in huge frustration. Thanks again!
Thanks a Million, it works on 2006 Corolla as well. I felt bad that I need to drive back and bother those oil changed technicans.
Thanks this was driving me nuts!!
Thank you so much, I read the manual and tried to do what it said, but it didn't work! I thought I must be an idiot. Your method worked perfectly
Thank you so much!
Don't you love it when a vehicle manufacturer goes out of their way to create an annoyance for the customer. If only this trick worked for my Dunlop tires that were worn out at 24K miles.
You were the first item when I googled the problem. Thanks not only for the fix but describing the solution so easily with step by step, bold, and capitalization. I am running around like crazy, getting things ready for a trip and this morning at 6:00 a.m. the night after an oil change at jiffy lube, the light goes on. I had images of hours sitting at the dealership. Thank you very much. I'll implement at lunch today.
That's great, Tom! So glad it helped. Thanks for taking the time to leave your comment. Have a great trip!
thank you,it helps.now my wife will have peace of mind.that maintenance required light drives her nuts and in turn she drives me nuts.
I got exactly the same treatment from my wife!! That's what motivated me to find the solution. Nagging is the mother of....
